The critical first step we undertake is a thorough understanding of how the component in question will be used and any underlying issues that may have led to failure or simply can be improved upon for reliability, efficiency or maintainability. We work collaboratively with our customers to collect all relevant information via data gathering worksheets. We also use our state of the art Metrology tools and machine knowledge to collect measurements and evaluate material properties. At this point we are in a position to share preliminary drawings and specifications.
